Hope it's not a repost. Not the vid of him in loafers. He is in a race suit. Mostly in-car vid footage save the beginning and end.

Senna asked about Honda withdrawal from F1:

Wow. I've never seen that one before. It definitely captures most of what these cars mean to me. :)

Since I don't own an NSX yet and the majority of my paychecks are commission I'll be watching this video every night before bed as motivation.

Thanks. :D

Wow, thanks for sharing the video. It is good and kinda sad video, espacially a song on the background indicating it is the END of the NSX. Senna feels pretty sad about the changed of Honda though.

I could feel his emotion in his interview! Thanks for the post.

I wish we could have heard him speaking in the NSX video.

Senna was just voted the greatest F1 driver of all time by F1 magazine. He's the man.

Awesome videos, thanks for sharing. The steerign wheel in the first vid looks very "prototypical"...

Thanx for posting, had not seen the interview vid b4, very emotional about the loss of Honda.

Ref the NSX demo lap ... I cannot recall thenumber of times I have seen this, but everyone time it pops up, I take the 4 minutes or so required to re-watch. And still my head cannot get around the outrageous amounts of steering input and speed Ayrton carries in this NSX.

As ex F1 driver John Watson once said, I saw this Lotus closing as I approached Dingle Dell (Brands Hatch circuit -UK), I knew it was Senna by the distinctive yellow helmet. As he passed me, the car was dancing. I knew right then that my time had passed. This young man was doing things in a F1 car I hadn't even dreamed off.

regards,

god what i would give to have been in the car with him. you can't buy that at Great America :)

thanks for the video

damn you can see the passion and memories he has as he gets emotional during the talk and even more so wiping the tears as he runs away, must really suck to lose your partner who helped achieve a lot of success.

Heh yeah and he is moving it really much (in stock NSX I think its much more direct, like you move it less for the same steering angle).

Agreed, the casual sense he seems to have while driving with that much steering input is uncanny. Too bad about the music soundtrack though. I'd much rather hear the engine and tires.
