This past year Ayrton Senna - arguably the best Formula One driver to ever get behind the wheel - would have turned 50 had he not been killed in an accident and Top Gear did a special tribute to him.

There is now a highly reviewed movie/documentary about his life and there will be a one day showing here in Calgary at the Globe Theater. The Calgary Kart Club is sponsoring the film and Allen Berg will be hosting a talk before the movie. Mr Berg raced against Ayrton Senna in his career and will have a unique and I think interesting perspective on the late world champion. For information on this event go here:

There are two tickets to purchase. The first is for the talk with Allen Berg, all the proceeds of which will go towards the Kart Club. The second is the actual ticket to the movie. I have purchased mine and I look forward to the evening. Don't miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity.
