I'm not sure either. It's hard to tell from the diagram. All I know is that it's a clip that slides over a thin piece of plastic on the bumper. I can't tell if the part that you referenced is the part that the screw rests inside of in the corner lamp.
hmm, unfortunately I can't help any more, because I've never opened up that part of the NSX.
I would probably just buy #3 because it is inexpensive, but maybe other members more familiar with that part/area of the car could help you out.

lol i lost the same thing a couple of days ago. its called the springer clip item# 41 on the front bumper page.I just got it at the local Acura dealership cost less then 3$ for 2
