Seen this before? Factory 'looking' radar detector (I think)??

Check this out. I looked at an NSX today since it was a mile from my house at a dealership (on Autotrader now in CT).

In any case, I did a mini inspection in case Prime Members had interest (it was not in spectacular condition).

During the inspection I saw this which I presume is a radar detector. It looked factory but after some searches it appears no factory option exists. Thoughts?

Appears to be a custom enclosure for an off the shelf unit. I would also venture to guess that the detector's display shows on the mirror.
