The mint 2005 I bought a while back came with the legit car cover, but I don't think it has ever been out of the package.

And I'm not a big car cover guy, but I do like to cover them up over the winter, just so they don't get dusty.

Anyway, instead of using the bulky factory cover, I had an unused cover I bought for another car- a BMW E36 M3 convertible, and... it just barely fits.

It's not actually transparent, but made of white ripstop nylon, and as such kind of translucent. Would be very cool for a race car with stripes or graphics.

I like looking out in the garage and seeing an NSX instead of just a fabric-covered lump.

In case anyone is interested, here's the supplier: https://www.covercraft.com/us/en/product/custom-viewshield-car-cover.C-CCVS

#carporn

Thanks for the suggestion.

Nice Miata!

guilty of clicking on your link 50 times......

If I used that cover...my wife would wonder why I have a bottle of chianti in the garage playing Teddy Pendergrass...

The only cover I like and I've tried them all is that SOS satin one but again, it covers it up and you can't see the car. My daughter is 7 now and she knows nothing is allowed in the garage other than cars. Bikes and everything go in the shed.

I now use clear plastic ones I buy on Amazon called the Car Condom, works amazing and disposable. Like $8 a piece if you buy in bulk.

Did you use a protective film? I was recently recommended Paint Protection Film Vancouver BC, but the price is too high. Do you think it's worth it to get a protective film whose price is within $ 1000? There are of course many more types of car protection. For example, I even read on https://www.sunsigns.org/december-meaning-symbolism/ meanings about various symbolism, according to which one can draw conclusions and warn oneself.

Since my car was so perfect when I bought it a year ago, I really wanted to keep it that way. I had a great shop apply PPF to the front bumper, front hood, front fenders, rocker panels, mirrors, and around the side scoops. Then had the car treated with ceramic coating. Total was $3300.

Car looks pretty nice. https://www.instagram.com/p/CLpNiHAhRy5/

I feel like if it's translucent the occasional scratch would make it through such a thin cover.

If you need a cover to try to protect your car from scratches, this one is not for you. It’s very thin, great for keeping your car dust-free.

The Kid, which one on Amazon do you prefer? I searched 'car condom' on Amazon and received quite a few results.

Thanks,

There was a guy on Facebook who was selling one with the "NSX" printed on it. Looked really nice- anyone know who that was?
