seats for long waited slender guys???

I am looking for seat that fit me. I have Momo Acropolis seats, they are great for bolster support but the backs are too short for me. I went to a HANS device last season and the whole fit issue got much worse. The problem is the shoulder harness holes. Most shoulder holes are 24" off the base, I need at least 27" for the shoulder belts not to push up on the holes as the belts go through, back to the harness bar.

Any ideas for a taller seat? All of the ones I have found are wider too, and I slide around in them.

Try and look at some Cobra seats. Many of their seats are HANS compatible (the shoulder belt holes are larger), and some of their seats come in varying widths and/or sizes for tall people. Won't break the bank either.

We had recaros in the FX car, and I was fine wearing my HANS in it.

Do you know the model? I need at least 27" from seat base to top of shoulder holes. That's 3" more than my Momos...

Yes, Sparco makes a seat, I found one used yesterday!

The Recaro SPG HANS also fits, don't know if I want to pony up the $ for it, plus the Hans halo is a drag on the street.

You could look at racetech seats made here in NZ.

These guys make the Subaru WRC cars seats, are FIA approved, also think they made the OE seat in the Vipers at one point and I think are doing Porsche Supercup seats too.

They can make you anything custom you like.....

Great fit and a price I can rationalize! Tall and narrow, seat fits me great. It has good bolster and leg support too!

I test fit the Recaro SPG XL and it seemed like a good fit too. I'm glad there are at least a few choices out there.

That's cool, I like a tighter fit than that seat allows. Sparco makes a few seats that are tall, plus most of theirs have tall shoulder belt holes.
