Seat Rails for Wide Seats?

I kicked up another thread on this, but does anyone know if any of the Bride or Buddy Club seat rails fit wider racing shells? My seats are essentially the same size as the Recaro ABE. The outer edges of the included brackets are 430 mm apart and the centers of the mounting holes on the brackets are 380 mm apart.

I feel your pain. I had to make my own. My Recaros were maybe 1/4-1/2" too wide for the widest rails I could find. They never really fit right until I redid the entire seat mounting assembly 2yrs ago.

Parts:
- Reinforced Buddy Club rails (because they were independent for each side). Get your welder to reinforce those welds though...
- Relocated mounting tabs, centered and reinforced
- Old Dali Racing side mounts
- Custom Steel 90 deg angle bars (not alum, cuz steel is stronger)
- Lots of measuring, then cursing, then measuring again.

p.s. this also allowed me to maximize the front/back sliding action of the Buddy Clubs. In stock form they are in the near most forward position already for a 6ft guy. Impossible for anyone shorter than say 5'9 to drive my car. Now someone maybe 5'2 can drive it.

Thanks Regan- this is really helpful!! I found a place called Wedge Brackets that apparently will custom build your rails to make sure your seats fit. I'm going to chase that down, but if it is a dead end, I may just try your A-Team seat rail project. :D

**EDIT** Looks like the Bride XL might actually fit with no modifications! Claims to support up to 430 mm width.

just a friendly FYI... make sure this locates the seat low enough to your liking.

Also, looking at that photo, the default position of the seat rail looks like it's already pretty far back. So that means just to mount it in the car you'll already be about 3-5" forward. I'm not sure where that leaves short people who want to drive the car. I had the same issue with the BC's. Hopefully i'm wrong!
