Seat height - aftermarket seats?

The stock seat sits as low as possible in the car, as the aluminum rubs the carpet at its lowest point. Look into removing the cushion or using a thinner one like the Dali. Plus, the seat without a cushion holds you much tighter since the side bolsters actually grip.
Agreed on both, but my own experience with taitec side mount and Recaro SPG, I'm sitting way lower than the stock seat... I in fact had to put extra padding for my own comfort.
The key of the lower height is with side mount and less padding.
Stay away from bottom mounted seats. unless you are 5 ft tall.

Is the Dali pad just as comfortable as the stock seat?
I will let you know. I just picked one up, but the weather's been too cold to want to spend anytime in the garage installing it!

I have Status CF/KV seats with tiatec rails......I sit way lower...the bottom rubs the carpet.
if visual is good...lower.. the better for track....it helps keep center gravity lower part of your NSX.

I have those too. it is about 2 inches lower...they are fine on the confort...but keep in mind, all the Dali seats are, are thinner foam padding. so you will lose some comfy.
