screws where?

the screws that go along the door panel are they the short ones or long ones? the door handle screws do the gold ones go toward the back or the front. thanks mates

the length of the screws dont really matter. As long as they are not too short or too long. i used longer ones for the panel and kept the short ones for the speakers, only because i made custom washers to keep my tabs from breaking.

I also went to the wreckers and removed 25+ screws of varying lengths from other hondas. just in case. :wink:

As far as as the screws that hold the handle on, the gold ones go towards the front and the black towards the back of the car.

Wrong,,,,, the 4 gold screws go to the rear, the 4 black screws twords the front, if you look closely at both the black screws and the gold ones you will see the difference, the gold screws have this gap near the head of the screw that the steel frame of the handle locks into. the front of the handle doesnt need this gap, cuz it plastic. just look at the screws and you will know what I am talking about. also when you screwing in the gold screws in the rear you will hear a click sound comfirming the screw has LOCKED into place.

I have seen the door handle screws both ways from the factory, just install then back the way you found them because the gold ones are larger in diameter.

when i removed both my door panels, my gold screws were in the front. and if you do a search about removing these panels the pics provided show the gold screws at the front.
