i have a horror story about wheels of america.Im sure that some of there locations do extremely good work but let me tell you what happened. I had two cracked wheels ,damaged as a result of hitting a pot hole. The wheels are no longer made so i tried to salvage them but getting them repaired. This is the first time i had ever used a wheel repair shop.I send out all four wheels to there farmingdale location in ny,that way the paint will match on all four wheels.I get the wheels back three days later i mount n balance the tires and a few days later the tire is low on air....both of the wheels that were repaired. So i take it back to the tire shop and they take the wheels off and dunk them into the tub of water and we immediatly see air bubbles. Not from the bead or the tire but from the rim itself... it was leaking thru the weld... ok i send them back to wheels of america in farmingdale.. few days later i get the rims back......same thing happens... they offer to try it one more time or give me a refund.......but only on two rims.I had all four done and two good wheels will not help me at all.Well you know what happens the third time.....there explanation ... we just cant do it ....heres a refund on two wheels.. sorry.... but what about the other two wheels i had done ?.. there was nothing wrong with them and we did refinish them and paint them so i cannot give u a refund on those.
