When you said "scoop", i didn't think you meant literally!!! What's that roof-scoop doing? Did MYNSX design this? ;)

I don't like it.... too "jaguari-sh" for me... with a bit of S2000, warped 360 headlights, and mickey-mouse ears. :D But these are personal opinions.

WOW!!!!!!!! Looking real good ,Glad to see Honda didnt f*** it up like all the cars they been coming with lately. I like it alot

This is a repost.... There are more pics also of a red car..

My thoughts are this car SUCKS.

I think the car looks pathetic. It has the Modena front; waistline, scoop, vents, and back of other cars'. I think it should be named Honda Frankenstein. I'll keep my old NSX, thank you very much.
Steve

IMO - It looks like a cheap kids toy car! I hope this is a joke . . .

To each his/her own, I guess.

Yeah, I'm not too keen on this design either, but who knows, maybe it'll look better in real life, maybe it'll grow on me, who knows. I'm not even sure how real this picture is. I've seen the magazine this pic came from and they always have photoshopped pics of cars they say are going to be the next gen cars.....

I'm not going to believe it until I see it in Road and Track or something.

Does anyone here know how old this picture is? Anyone here read Japanese?

I'll be going to the Tokyo Motor Show next month so if the REAL next gen NSX is going to be there, I'll take tons of pictures.

I can't read Japanese but there are a few things that jump out at me re: the authenticity of the picture.

1. You will notice that there a drawings hanging on the wall in the background
2. Also there a re people standing around with name tags talking
3. there are styling elements that have links to other cars (e.g. Modena/RX8)
4. Honda is developing a strong cohesive visual design language for their cars and this design contradicts some very core elements

These observations lead me to believe that this is a student design project done at one of the transportaion design schools. Design students tend to be heavily influenced by current styling trends. The two Apparently Japanese bystanders leads me to believe that it is a school in Japan.

Hey Peter

Do you have a higher res image of that article?

I can read japanese but the text is pixelized and really hard to read.

The txt (big print) that I can read says :

NSX: The surprising two evolving plans

and

Is it going to continue being the Y1000 K class supersports car?
or Is it going the low price route?!

Sorry, I don't have the original pic...I just pasted the link that someone forwarded to me.

Damn i must be the only guy that things it looks good. maybe ill grow on you guys but i like it. the only thing freakin me out is where the side mirrors are located.

This car sucks big ones....It took until now for a real redesign, and this is the best they can do? I agree I will keep my 91 thank you very much....:(

Hmmmm...

I can barely make out the japanes txt.. but it says
at one point there was plans for a redesigned NSX with a V10!
(i'm assuming its a V10 since I can see the "V" and 2 digits after it..) Another plan was for the NSX to be a new platform for Hybrid Sports car? But it seems both plans were scrapped..

Anybody know which japanese magazine this was from?

I think everyone here should relax. I highly doubt this is the replacement for the NSX. I just think it's one of many possible prototypes......anyone here have pics of the original NSX prototypes? Some of them were kind of nasty also.

Maybe toyota could design the body and honda install a honda V8....just a thought

i hope not.....it's got a F360 front and mediocre looking side and rear.

it's nowhere close to the finesse of the current design.....back to the drawing board, please.....
