The Moton Club Sport Suspension brings a high performance shock absorber technology used by top Grand-Am, Le Mans, and GT Championship race teams to the Club Sport racer. This was the same brand of shock absorber used by the Realtime NSX.

The Club Sport shock absorber uses the same technology as the Moton Motorsport shock absorber with the only difference being 2-way adjustment (separate low speed compression and rebound) instead of 3-way and 4-way adjustment. Version 2 now adds 15 positions of low speed compression and rebound) for fine tuning.
Thirty five years of experience and technical development are bound together in each shock absorber manufactured by Moton. Moton shock absorbers have been honed on race circuits all over the world in many different disciplines including Grand-Am, Le Mans, GT Championship, and other top race series.
The Moton shock absorber uses a large 22 mm piston rod / 44mm piston monotube design to provide maximum fluid displacement at small suspension movement allowing control during the slightest movements of the suspension. More fluid displacement caused by the cross section of the large piston rod combined with the gas pressure in the remote reservoir results in added lifting force on each corner of the car to support the main spring without increasing the spring rate. The result in increased chassis control with out the need to utilize heavy spring rates.
The suspension can easily be used as a dual purpose application for street and track. Due to the high quality shock absorber - the ride quality is incredibly smooth on the street - very similar to the factory ride quality, even with heavier spring rates.
ScienceofSpeed offers the Moton Club Sport as bare shock absorbers - or as a complete package with NSX-specific springs, mounting hardware, and top mounts. ScienceofSpeed utilizes an exclusive shaft design to allow the shock absorber to be utilized with either the factory top mount or a machined billet aluminum top mount with a spherical monoball bearing. The factory bushings can be reused, or we also offer a set of factory NSX Type-S bushings that have a higher performance design using a stiffer bushing and vulcanized steel washer that allows increased shock absorber design.
In addition to the Moton suspension, ScienceofSpeed offers the JRZ RS and RS Pro Suspension. The JRZ RS Pro is nearly identical to the Clubsport suspension. Because JRZ has not recently increased pricing like Moton, the value of this suspension for a professional quality shock absorber is unparalleled.

ScienceofSpeed includes premium Hyperco springs with an exclusive helper spring design with increase spring block height (pictured below) - eliminates contact between spring perch and joiner plate under full compression. This design is lighter weight than a tender spring commonly used by other suppliers. The customer may use our recommended spring rates, or elect to use any other spring rate at no additional charge.
