I am the proud new owner of a 91 Acura NSX. After having it for about a month I realized that I am going to need a new clutch. It is slipping pretty bad. I have a local shop that only works on Hondas/Acuras and they have worked on NSX's before. They suggest that I stick with a stock OEM replacement unless I plan on doing some sort of forced induction.
I have been looking around and There is a company called
Science of Speed

Has anyone dealt with these guys before ?
They have a a OEM clutch replacement by Centerforce. They say it is "light pressure without sacrificing performance...."
The kit looks like it is about a $1000.

Anyone have any experience with these guys ?

ya they are a popular company on here. i personally have only ordered a shift knob and boot and also the carbon fiber splitter on a separate order. both were shipped promptly and are great. i give them a thumbs up.

i don't think anyone's had a bad exp. with them, altho i could be mistaken. They get uniformly good press from pretty much all comers.

Science of Speed has an excellent reputation in the NSX community for its products and its customer service.

SoS is great. If you are looking to go OEM, you can get the parts at a very similar cost from Neillo (with an NSXCA discount) or Dali (www.daliracing.com).

Science of Speed is great, I've always had good experiences with them. I also bought the Centerforce clutch and I love it, feels a lot like the OEM one.

Another good clutch to go with is the single disc clutchmasters.
It is a little more. Probably like 1500. But, it is a great clutch.
