I would like to hook up my Rio Riot (20GB MP3 Player) in place of the existing CD Changer in my 91 NSX. I was hoping to tap into the back of the head unit if possible. Output of the player is left channel and right channel only (like a portable CD player) so I probably have to tie some pins up high to make the head unit think there is still a CD Changer out there. Any suggestions? Thanks.

John,

It might not be as elegant but how about a simple cassette adapter?

I use one on my iPod (20GB Apple player - 4000 songs) and it works nicely and sounds great!

The wire tucks down the side of the console and I still can take my iPod with me...which is the purpose of that device anyway.

The Riot is larger than iPod but you could still stow in the glove box and hide the wire up until it has to get into the cassette slot.

One reason I bought the iPod was because of it's small size. I can put it in the console or even rest it in the coin tray.

PS: I highly recommend the iPod. Apple just added support for Windows too.
