Saw SLK350 today on the road

Wow! That car looked really really good. Far better than the model it replaces. I thought it was an SLR for a brief second!

I went and looked at one last night. It has the same nose as the slr, which I must say is awesome. The rest of the car I don't know. I had a bit of temporary insanity and was considering trading my NSX for the 350.The car had a 7 speed auto trans(salesman said it was an industry first) and there is a 3 month waiting list at sticker price! Never thought of myself in a MB But this was tempting, but doesn't command he attention that a NSX does.

I am looking at a CLK55 AMG for my wife and this thing is SUPER nice.

According to C&D, its much better than the last gen. Plus it actually competes with a Boxster, and Z4 fairly well.

I'll check out the SLK55 AMG when it comes out. Owned a SLK32 AMG last year and it was a little rocket.
