San Diego/OC Area Shop for Clutch Replacement for '99 NSX

I need to replace the clutch on my '99 NSX. I would like to get some recommendations of where to get my clutch replaced. I would prefer to stay in the San Diego area as the clutch is already slipping, but could go to OC.

1. Where would you go to get an OEM clutch installed?

2. Where would you go to get an aftermarket clutch installed? And will the shop install parts purchased from another vendor such as SOS or Dali?

Give Nick at Applied Motorsports a call. He's up in Oceanside. You should be fine getting SOS or Dali stuff installed there. Heck, SOS will even send parts directly to them on request. (They've got the address on file. )

You can also try Jerry at Greenlight in Kearny Mesa. Several SD NSXers have recommended him.

I don't bother taking my NSX to local Acura dealerships anymore.

I've got no experience with Applied or Greenlight although I've seen several good reviews of both shops here on the board.

I've personally used Autowave in Huntington Beach and have been very happy with their work. I highly recommend Shane and Ron although their shop might be a bit of a haul for you.

I'm not being a smart ass but do yourself a favor and do a search on either of these three names. There's plenty of good information on this board about all of these shops.
