San Diego and friends October 9, 2010 road trip

Here are a few pics from an enjoyable road trip where we visited some points of interest throughout San Diego. Thirteen NSXs comprised our group including a pristine red Zanardi. This was organized by Randy "FuryNSX." A great day for all who attended and a great job, Randy. I had a blast!

Nice pictures, as always, Steve. Wonderful Yellow you have. Makes the pictures "pop". Nice to see everyone had a good time. Was thinking of going, but recently sprained my ankle. Will be on a fracture boot and crutches for the next six week. There goes NSXPO : ( Nice to see Ethan and LMR. Hope to meet the San Diego crew one day! We need to get San Diego and Los Angeles to meet more often!

What a beautiful day for a drive! I don't think we could've asked for better weather.

Being that this was the first time I tried setting up a route through the city, I think we came out okay. We were able to keep the group together throughout most of the day. The traffic jam on the way to Harbor Island was completely unexpected, but I'm glad we weren't in it too long. As for every other place we drove by or stopped, I hope you guys were able to soak in the scenery and sunshine.

I was trying out a different camera this time, so my pics came out okay. Between driving, navigating, watching for potholes, listening for calls, and trying to take an occasional picture, I'm surprised to get half decent shots. I always wondered what people in the traffic are thinking when they see 20 NSXs go by. I'm sure most of them don't even know what it is and start wondering what the heck is going on.

On our last drive on 9/5, we caused a 4-car accident pulling out of the parking lot. see link #64.
It just shows that the NSX is a timeless design. Poor guy...ruined 4 cars in one shot and he wasn't even speeding.
Pay attention when you drive at all time.
