Hey guys. I've been looking for my first NSX for a while now and have come up with a few. I need a little input and help from you guys who already have one or two. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I found:
92 Red NSX w/77k miles $27,000
91 Blk NSX w/84k miles $28,000

94 Red NSX w/20k miles $32,000 Salvage
94 Blk NSX w/35k miles $25,000 Salvage(est)

The red salvage NSX is very clean and in good condition. It looks like any other NSX. The blk one was hit in the front a little and needs a little bit of repairs and should come out to $25,000 when it's complete. I know how some of you feel about salvage cars and have read the other post regarding a salvage NSX. I've been around salvage cars for 5 years and know what I'm getting into. I don't mind the salvage titles cuz the cars weren't damaged too much and also the mileage is low. I just need opinions on whether those are good prices or if i should go for one of the clean titles. Thanks again.

If money is the main objectiv, heck the salvage title cars sound great. But the NSX in my opinion is a relatively high performance car. Its going to be subjected to more chassis stress and general stress all around than most cars. While a Salvage Taurus might run find, a Salvage NSX probably wouldnt *quite* be the same and noticeably so. If I were you, I wouldnt skimp on the money, better to make sure you get a good one, instead of guessing and maybe getting a bad one.

My opinion, but I wouldn't touch a salvage car with a ten-foot dipstick. Especially a high performance car like the NSX. If money is tight, take high-mileage over salvage -- but a better bet is to save a few more coins and get a lower mileage clean car.

The salvage NSX's are out of the Snap Ring Failure range. I'll take the salvage one if it's a big difference in price as opposed to the clean title, higher mileage NSX. I spoke to a body shop and showed them the pictures of the one that needs repair and they said it's not that bad and that they were surprised to see the insurance company settle the car. It looks like an average front end but a little on the lite side. With a high mileage clean title NSX, I will be a little hesitant to drive it long distances or taking it out as much fearing the addition of more and more miles. I personally have a hard time accepting cars that have a lot of miles. Thanks for the responses.

Have you driven the cars yet? I went to look @ a '93 a few hrs ago to help my friend out. This one had a clean title but was hit in the front and driver's side. They did not build it back correctly. I figured if that was a clean title, I'd hate to see one that suffered enough to justify the salvage title. Also, the car ran like crap and it only had 69k on it (felt like 169k). Oh btw, it was a Blk/blk at the House of Imports in Buena Park, CA so avoid that car if anyone is looking to buy in the LA area.
