Thanks for sharing!  That is a great idea.  I was thinking of getting a lift to move my car out of harms way.  However, this is a great idea and costs less than a lift.  I have not purchased a lift because we sometimes pull the car out and use the entire garage floor/space for projects.  With a lift, it will be in the way even if the car is pulled out.  I like the pool gate idea.  Again thanks for sharing.
