Hello Sacramento NSX Club,

Last month we decided to have the September meeting somewhere in the Arden area, and that's where we're meeting this month. Is it the end of September already?

This month our meeting is at Sam's Hof Brau located at 2500 Watt Ave. (Corner of EL Camino and Watt). Sacramento, CA 95825. Sam's is a Sacramento landmark, and if you haven't been there before, you are in for a treat of healthy portions of "comfort" American and German food at reasonable prices. They have been there since 1959, so the food must be good! There's plenty of parking and the lot is easy to access (for those with lowered cars or aftermarket chin spoilers).

Date: Tuesday, September 30, 2014
Time: 6:30pm

Notes from last month's meeting:

Attendees: Nalesh and Al as officers. We had a total of 17 attendees and 13-14 NSXs. It was a fantastic turnout!
Location: Sammy's Restaurant and Bar

Summary:
  • Special thanks to Aaron for organizing the dinner and event. This was our End of Summer Bash and it was a huge hit. Everyone enjoyed the location, the food and the friendship. Aaron even arranged for reserved parking, which included a security guard keeping an eye on the cars.
  • Topics ranged from racing, the food, to new toys members have picked up, but mostly we talked about the Holiday dinner.
  • It was decided that we would work toward having our Holiday dinner mid-December this year, and Aaron and I will work on securing the location. If all works out, we'll have the dinner at Sammy's.
  • More to come about this in October.

It was nice to meet all of the guys who came out tonight. I finally broke the ice with sacramento nsx guys. Well atleast the ones who came out tonight. Thanks for the invite and thanks to Nalesh, Kenny, mike, Jeff and everyone else who came out. Sorry I'm bad with names. But I'll be back next month and hope to meet more nsx guys. For those of you who are new to the nsx of sac crew or just shy or maybe have too much pride, just come out next time. These guys are pretty harmless.
