Sup everyone. Trying to gather interest to see if anyone in the greater Sacramento area or near would like to meet up? You don't have to be a NSXCA member to attend this meet.

This meet would be for anyone that owns an NSX
Ages can range from 16-80 for all I care. As long as you love and drive an NSX!
I know there is a good number of NSX out there in this region.

Since the weather will stay warm during this time of the year in Sacramento, a meet after 7pm would be nice.

I am not originally from this area so if anyone that is interested and know of a suggestion/good place or parking lot, feel free to chime in!

I'm game. Maybe at one of the local Acura dealers? Nielo or Elk Grove?

If not, I know of a parking lot just off I-5 and Elk Grove Blvd. in Elk Grove. Used to be the AAA call center. I used to test my shifter kart there before it opened up.
AAA just moved the call center and now the building is empty and it has a huge parking lot.

I also live in Elk grove so one of these locations would work. Maybe a empty parking lot that has a walking distance access to a food joint or something just in case someone gets hungry or thirsty? somewhere off 99? 7:30 would be a good time for a quick meet as the sun is going down. what you think?

I'm down! If you guys want to meet at a place near food, maybe the parking lot at Elk Grove Mikunis or In N Out?

Mikunis or In N Out sounds like a perfect place to have a meet. I will drive by today around 7:30 to scope it out. See what parking lots are available around there at that time.

If we choose Mikuni's and it happens to be crowded we can always park on the Toys R Us side of the parking lot next to Mikuni's. That area is always pretty empty.

The In and Out tends to be pretty crowded in the evening and gets gridlocked sometimes due to all the people going through the drive through.

Sweet, I'm looking forward to meeting some fellow NSX owners! I've only had mine for almost 3 weeks and have only seen one other NSX around.

Where are all of the other Sacramento area NSXs at?????

If none of these locations work. There's always a big parking lot at BJ's restaurant on the other side of the bridge right off the 99 on Laguna blvd

Or if we can gather some more Sacramento area heads, we can hit up the In N Out on Sunrise. There is a huuuge parking lot over there.

Hey guys. I was just over at Elk Grove Acura to order some parts and talked to their Service Manager Jeff Maciel. He said they would be willing to host an event. All I need to do is give them the specifics/requirements. I was thinking of trying for an all day or afternoon event on some weekend(probably a Saturday) in late August/early September when the weather is a bit cooler. Maybe we can get some folks from the bay area to come out for this as well. What do you think?

Yeah, I am thinking the mini-meet at Mikuni's in the evening soon and then a big meet at the dealer in about a month or so.

Sounds like a plan. I will check out Mikuni's tonight. I will let you guys know the results tomorrow. First meet, lets aim for Friday night at 7:30pm.

I just got back from checking it out. The back of Mikuni's is perfect. The only problem is, I drove out there at 7:30 and it was still freaking hot. The good part is we should have shade at the area we park in.

What about 8pm on the dot? This Friday or next? you guys choose. It may be just us 3, but I'm still up for it.

Hey if you want to see a crowd of nsx's come to the next meet.

We've had great turnout at our events this year and I'd like to see us keep that momentum going. This time of year is busy for all of us; summer vacations, kids out of school, projects needing to be done around the house, family functions and more, but I'd like ask each of you to sign up for this event if you can. Why? First and foremost, it's an opportunity for all of us as club to support a local charitable organization. Secondly, it's an opportunity for us to get out and talk with other automotive enthusiasts about cars. Finally, but not least, this will be our club meeting for July - and like every meeting we've had this year, you will have a good time.

Let's keep the list going. Don't miss out!

The Fiesta Classic Car Show is rapidly approaching, July 25th
This should be a great party , like Cinco De Mayo in July! ! ! !
The will be blocking off 11th st between N and O st in front of
Vallejo's Cantina, a large block Party.
The cars will be judged in the fenced in area at 11th & O st, with an entry of $10
to benifit the after school program at Washington School Downtown.
Lets Sign up, so I can give them a count for car spots.

Hey Ray, do you have a post for this event? I can't seem to find one...

Wish I could make that one but my daughter's birthday party is that day.

This Friday(tomorrow) works for me. 7:30 or 8 pm is fine.
