Hey guys,

Can anyone tell me what the stock s2000 sound system consists of?

How many speakers, sizes of the speakers, and ideal sub placement.

the MY 2000 and MY 2001 had a diferent set up than the MY 2002 and MY 2003.

The original car had a different head (layout and power) and had two speakers located down on the doors. MY 2002 got a slightly more powerful headunit and two additional speakers (tweaters?) located higher up on the door to complement the original two.

I'm no audiophile but I can tell you that the stereo in the S blows. The good news is that I almost never listen to it anyway but it does suck.

It blows but thats because all you should be listening to is the wind over your ears and VTEC at 9,000!! those cars have an awesome sound at vtec!!

The new '04 has yet a slightly improved sound system. There are even new speakers behind the headrest area.
