Rx300 Oil cooler?

whats a difrence stock or after market oil coolers for lexus rx300? the stock is $355.00 and the after market universal is only $50.00 what shuld i do?

Please, excuse my stupidity but why do you need an oil cooler ?????

I am asking because my daily driver is a 2001 RX300.

my rx300 is leaking oil and its the oil cooler in front passenger side in front of the wheel
