My rear OEM brake shims have some rust on them, and the coating is peeling off. Since the pads themselfes are practically new, I'm not quite ready to get a whole new set.I found an online catalog offering new front shim sets for $14http://www.drivewire.com/acuraparts/catalog/acuransxbrakepad.html(bottom of page)but nothing for the back shims. Strange. Also thinking of removing the rust spots, and if there's anything left worth saving, spraying them down with 1200 degree BBQ grill paint, applying anti-squeal and slapping it all back together.Yea, I know, I'm a cheap bastard, but these little things add up quickly!
