Rumor is that the production of NSX 2.0 will be only 8 cars per day. Four days a week

Wouldn't surprise me. On the Acura site it says it takes 5 hours to assemble the engine. Depending on how many engine builders they have, it can't be that many engines per day.

If 4x8 is the production week. Their production capacity is 1408 units per year. Their 100% CAP rate is significantly more than they plan to build.

Japan made 20/day at peak output for the original.

A long wait list is the very best thing for Honda and the NSX.
Exclusivity is important in selling future cars and maintaining value of future production.
