I am taking a trip to visit my brother in Phoenix on Monday. I will be using as much of Rte 66 as ia available between the MO/OK border and Flagstaff. Does anyone here have any suggestions for "MUST SEE" on this portion of rte 66?

Well, I don't know if any of this qualifies as "must see" or not, but here goes.....

Old Town in Albuquerque

Petrified Forest in eastern Arizona

Meteor Crater in central Arizona

Stand on a corner in Winslow Arizona

Watch for the cops near Holbrook, and don't get gas at the first truck stop about five miles before Holbrook.

If you're driving your NSX, I'd recommend that you actually head south from Albuquerque to Socorro and take U.S. Highway 60 in to Phoenix. The drive is much more scenic, and there are some awesome twisty roads once you get into Arizona. Also, you pass right by the Very Large Array telescope that is always in a ton of movies (Contact for example). Just watch for the porcupines on the road and you'll be okay (inside joke.) :)
