Rough running after battery incident

I was removing the clamp for my Battery Tender and I pulled the negative/ground off the battery terminal. I hooked it right back up (tigtened it down) and immediatelty drove the car...it seemed to have no pep, run rough, etc... no warning lights?

Anyway, I checked my ground and its tight BUT in searching Prime, I see that I must let the car idle for 15 minutes while the ECU re-learns...TRUE?

Do I have to pull the negative again and idle?
Can I pull an ECU fuse (which one)?
Help!
Thanks

I used a battery post "shim" from Advanced Auto (to make sure this wasn't an electrical/negative post/ground issue) and my 1991 3.0 now is showing a check engine light.

The motor seemed to smooth out (75% or so) once the CEL came on much like what occured when I had an oxygen sensor go out last year.

I'll probably pull the ECU/clock fuse for 30 seconds and see if anything "resets".

Then I guess I'll jumper for codes.

Once you reconnect the batter the car should run fine. I have not heard of letting it idle for 15 min.

You can pull the 7.5amp fuse I believe number 33. This is for Clock and ECU.

I would pull the code before resetting the ECU.

I pulled the clock/ECU fuse...30 sec...re-installed it, started the car let it idle/settle for ~10 minutes...SEEMS to be resolved?

I pulled my battery for 2 days and re-installed, (new ignition switch) ran great right off the bat, no 10 minute idle required;

Did drive slow/ conservative till it warmed up and I got out of the neighborhood.

Thanks, I don't know what happened...but I am "watching/listening" closely.
