I was just wondering what was the rotor size on the nsx fronts before and after the change (1997) thnks

In 1997 they were increased from 282 mm front and rear to 298 mm in the front and 303 mm in the rear.
Hmmm, isnt the 282 the standard size for most honda rotors? what makes the NSXs in particular so much better...ie more expensive.

It's not the standard size for most Hondas. For example, the Integra Type R has a 282 mm rotor, but not other Integras (I think).
The NSX rotor is also significantly thicker than other models including the ITR.
And it's not particularly expensive.
