Rotor direction

Just receive the stoptech aero-rotor for the front and dali slotted for the rear.
For those who don't know, stoptech rotor's slot direction is reversed compare to other rotors.
Now I'm wondering, if I can mount the rear rotor reversed, so that it have the same direction as the front.
Is this a bad idea?

It is a bad idea not to follow the instructed direction. The way the rotors are mounted has to do with the way the heat is directed. If you mount the rotors in the reverse direction the heat wil be routed to the wheel bearings.

As noted by Gerard, flipping the front disc will cause them to run less efficiently, and will likely cause the disc to overheat and crack under hard usage. Flip the discs in the rear side to side since the vanes are not directional.

he's being anal again, everyone please pardon my little cousin's analness..

:D well, if it isn't stated clear that the rotor isn't directional, and it stated clear that which side is the particular rotor ( L or R ). I wouldn't want to risk it...

Of couse you can ask MJ and see if he will let you know if it's really directional or non directional.

I didn't notice there was sticker on the edge of the boxes to specific the rotor direction until I double checked earlier.
Thanks for everyone's comment.
