Roof top color code for 93's NSX

Hi everyone,

My 93's NSX has a black roof top. However, it is badly scratched and I wish to send it to the car bodyshop for a repaint work. I personally prefer the color combination of different rooftop color with the body color, I personally see that would be more beautoful and agreesive than the whole car is painted with the same color.

Anyway, can anyone of you knows and do not mind to tell me what is the color code and spec for the black rooftop? Is it NH88? as same color as the berlina black? Then how about the spec for the Gloss ? Gloss 60?

According to earlier threads, the color code for the black roof is the same as berlina black which is NH-547.

Yup, same as the b-black. I thought about getting the roof of my all red painted black and the dealer gave me NH547. Think about it this way, have you ever seen a stock b-black with a roof that didn't match the rest of the car? :smile:

But I think the roof portion of the berlina black NSX is somehow glossier... don't you think so?

So, I just have to get it painted with NH-547, and that is all done? How about the gloss spec? 80? 60?

I'm pretty sure the roof is not any glossier than the body - at least I hope not. I can only speculate though because I've only seen 3 black NSXs in person :smile:. I'll take a look today for you, one of my coworkers has a black. For now, I would just say that the roof should be painted the exact same color as the body of a berlina black. Of course, I'm notorious for being wrong :biggrin:.

Sorry, I forgot about this thread... okay, so I was going to confirm the roof color...

I checked out my coworker's black on black and the roof seems to be exactally the same color as the body - it does not appear to be more glossy than the rest of the car. He hasn't gotten any paint work done so I can only assume that the top and body of all black NSXes match from the factory. I hope this helps!

After you go ahead and get this painted, I'll see what I can do about your refund when you find out I was wrong about the color :wink:.

Have you install your NSX-R sway bar yet? :biggrin:

Also I see you have Spoon speedometer. Do you have Spoon ecu as well? The pearl white WB NSX also have Spoon speedometer and ecu.
