"Roll bar" for Audi Club event

I signed up for an Audi Club event. They seem to have a restrictive view of cars with removable tops, and require "a roll bar in the car that sits at least 2” higher than your head." Does anyone have a view of whether the NSX meets that criteria? The event is in a couple weeks and it would be unfortunate if I cannot participate now that I've made all the arrangements.

In events with this restriction I have seen them say the NSX does not comply.

2.13.3. Targa tops, “T-*‐tops” and “Halo” bars

"Targa-*‐type tops with structurally integrated roll hoops are allowed"

Hm, that doesn't sound good. Annoying. But I will find another event no doubt. Just shifts the season back five weeks or so.

I wish I could join Chin this weekend at VIR but my schedule doesn't allow for it. I may be able to make their Sun-Mon event at the end of October.

On the post topic, it turns out the DC chapter of the BMW club also has an absolute prohibition on cars with removable tops. I'm glad the Tarheel chapter isn't so unreasonable. Looks like I will be spending more time with TrackDaze, NASA, and SCCA.

An update: Audi club decided that they allow targa versions of 911 and Corvette, so will allow NSX-T too. In my separate investigation, the BMW National Capital Chapter is the only club I have found to prohibit all removable tops. The other regional BMW clubs and all the Porsche clubs have no problem with it. Looking forward to my season opener with Audi in less than two weeks.
