Hey, Yellowpad, if you have lots of little chips, too numerous to use touch-up paint on, and you want to put off doing the repaint thing just yet, try color wax.  Don't remember the manufacturer.  I think there are a couple different ones out there.  I was skeptical at first but it works great!  I had this same problem on my GSR and it hides the chips very well.  Instead of white residue (making the chips stand out) it leaves which ever color you have chosen in the chips.
