Rock Chip Solution?

Man, wish I lived in Orange County, Ca. Isnt that where my dream girl Gwen Stefani of NO DOUBT hailed?

Anyways, I would think it depends on how bad the rock chips are. If its just a couple small ones, touch up paint done by someone who knows what there doing good be the answer. If however, your really picky then you could find a reputable body shop to repaint. Maybe you should try the former first before bothering with the latter.

Hey, Yellowpad, if you have lots of little chips, too numerous to use touch-up paint on, and you want to put off doing the repaint thing just yet, try color wax. Don't remember the manufacturer. I think there are a couple different ones out there. I was skeptical at first but it works great! I had this same problem on my GSR and it hides the chips very well. Instead of white residue (making the chips stand out) it leaves which ever color you have chosen in the chips.

I have a bunch of free samples if anyone would like to try it. I think I could put one in an envelope and get away with one stamp. I have not tried it yet, but if you don't like it, you can always wipe it off.

Looks interesting. Have you used it? Any before after pics?

i have personally used it and very happy with results. of course it cant fix chips the size of a crater... but for the little chips, langka sure does wonders..... i was skeptical at first, but it really did cover up the usualy glob loook from touchup paint..

make sure you dont use the brush that comes with the factory touch up paint.... go out and buy yourself one of those fine tipped brush you use on model cars :)
