Greets,I just picked up a used rm racing NOS kit.was uninstalled and sent to me with 6 page document.no wire diagrams,no pics.very very vague directions.prevous owner didnt really need it since rm did the install.I believe there is a more detailed install sheet out ther including pics and wire chart.as I have never installed nos I want a pro to do it.found one local ,said he didnt do street cars but would do a NSX.his one concern was having to go into the factory wire harness for horn button,paranoid about srs,airbag, all that.now my only concern.the ash tray unit looks really kludged right from rm.to follow the directions would be impossible.has three pink wires(should have only one.says white wire from ashtray unit should connect to white wire on gray loom.the white wire is on the tray unit but just a daisy from arm switch to bottle open switch.pair of twisted black and red to black and red on loom.no red wire period on tray unit.also all wires on tray unit terminated 1 inch from connectors.top connector wire(three on each switch)missing from tray unit.aside from the messed up direction sheet, short wires and what looks like kludged wire work unit is tight(all the other parts).what I am asking for is if anyone whom has the rm nos kit to email me any pics or wire diagrams they might have.rm no longer sells it so I AM not confident they still have the specs for the wires and what not or will assist a no longer sold second owner unit.if anyone has a photo of the back of the ashtray unit that shows all the wire connections my problem is solved as the harness it connects to has the correct wiring.please send any info you have if you can.I can just desolder all the short terminated wires and replace them with the right gauge and color and add a couple of feet to the tray wires and bus them correctly to the loom.any help is most welcome. email to [email protected]
