anyone else had this problem ... it's only just started happening (and only after the car is driven fairly hard) ... whenever I dip the clutch to come to a stop the revs drop .. and drop ... down below 1000 ... keeps going ... engine feels like it's going to stall then it perks up just at the last minute back to just below 1000.
If I drive sedately everywhere (!) this doesn't happen - drops to just below 1000 and rests - it only seems to happen after a bit of heavy right foot ....

anyone had similar?

thanks
Paul

Mine did--the timing chain was off by half a notch, but I was also told a dirty throttle body could have the same symptoms. Try having it cleaned first, it's much cheaper

Thanks for this Pheon$x ... did yours do this all the time or only after some agressive driving like mine?

Paul

Actually, it happened after I had the timing belt replaced. The throttle body was dirty also, but I was told because the car wasn't driven hard enough and thus had carbon buildup. Driving the car hard doesn't seem to be harmful to the NSX.
