Mine finally arrived yesterday and I managed to get it installed today.

My Build
-NA2
-Cantrel AIS
-Angus Resonated Test Pipes
-Pride V2 (Before)
-CT Engineering Gen II (After)

Build Quality:
-Craftsmanship is unbelievable
-I thought the Pride was well made.... Comptech kicks it up a notch
-The exhaust was noticeably heavier than my Pride V2 but lighter than stock

Sound:
-No drone! I loved the Pride V2 sound outside but inside the cabin the drone was too much. Uncomfortable for me and even more so for the passenger.
-Outside sounds great with my Angus RTP
-Throaty and rumbly
-No rasp
-Wish it was more aggressive sounding outside... but I guess that is the trade off. No drone = less aggressive.

Misc:
-I swear my car is pulling harder.

pics?

Nothing new, Pride V2 does not make the most power, but it has the highest pitched sound for an affordable easily available exhaust. If drone is an issue, taking off the engine cover/ replacing it with an NSX-R one takes care of that. I hope you enjoy it, though... I am really picky about exhaust and usually go through many of them, so I understand where you are. I would recommend the Prospeed one if you like the no drone, added power, and want more aggressive sound... its not quite V2 sound, but it should be more aggressive than the Comptech. If I didn't already have and love the Pride V2, I might go that route.

Has anyone posted videos of the sound of this thing? I've heard the Pride V1 and V2, but if this one really has no drone, I'd like to hear what it sounds like outside the car, etc.

I searched, it seems too new..

So I took the car out for an hour last night testing load on all gears and RPM ranges.

There is drone...

-2000-2500 RPM
-Heavy engine load

This means when you are going 50-55MPH and you are in 6th... going up hill and bogging it... you'll get some drone.

I can live with this. Even then the drone is NOTHING compared to the Pride V2.

Here are some pics... If the exhaust looks dirty it is because it reflecting whatever is on my garage floor.

I'll do a vid as well.

Looks good did you get some vids done yet? Been looking around for something quiet by will flow better for my SOS S/C setup.

Robbie, I just installed mine a few weeks ago and I love it... Very very close to an aggressive sound that could be confused as stock without drone at all. Next time I'm up in the area with the car I'll give you a shout so you can see for yourself in person.

Steve, that would be great,i was hoping to find a local owner that had this exhaust so i could hear it.did you get it from sos?

I got it from King Motorsports, but for the sake of supporting an NSXPO sponsor I would say to use SOS :)

I would guess that they are more than likely to have them in stock too (you may want to ask)... Mine was made when ordered so it took over 2 months to get it. I absolutely love it though, slightly more aggressive tone but not enough to where it would ever take away from a comfortable drive. I honestly forget it is there until I stomp on the loud pedal :)

I moved away from Raleigh, but I might come up for the next C&C.

Love my gen2. Loved my pride v2 also.

Pride might add one 1hp though it might almost rob a little. Comptech gen 2 probably adds 10 hp. You can probably feel it pull harder.

Removing the engine cover will not eliminate drone. It might reduce it a little.

Did anyone install this on NA1? It looks good with 02 valence. What I like about stock NA1 tips is that those are not round. And go nice with overall low profile rear end of the car. Look more elegant. When round tips look more aggressive.

Would really like to hear it in person.
