Makes no difference. I drove a friend's Comptech supercharged NSX thousands of miles bumping the rev limiter countless times. It works perfectly all the time. The car is equipped with a CT supercharger, headers, exhaust, short gears, 4.55 R&P and Tilton flywheel. Redline comes so quickly in 1st gear that if you're not paying attention, it comes up real fast. I don't remember how many times I've bumped the rev limiter in 1st and 2nd while not looking at the tach.
