Return of the F-body platform?!?

Ehh... interesting news!?! Seems like GM is toying w/ the idea to re-release the Camaro, I assume also others from the F-body platform, in the near future... I guess this is following in Ford's and Dodge's footsteps as far as trying to tap the somewhat lucrative nostalgia market. . .

Doesn't suprise me....the way stangs are selling these days.

Too bad those prototypes never look as good as the production car. Interesting enough tho.

Personally big V8's just don't do it for me anymore.
 
The car looks okay, but I don't care too much for the way the front end droops into a "V" shape. I liked the front end from the "conceptual" (unofficial GM) version a half year ago a bit better.

Still, I'm gravitating more toward the looks of the Challenger concept than this.
 
Only nice part is the "hips". The rest looks like a kluge of a Dodge Challenger.
 
if they are bringing old cars back, give me a Lincoln Continental with suicide door!
