It depends how much time you are willing to devote to it. I replaced the leather on both seats and had zero experience with the job before I started. It turned out pretty good (even installed heated seats in the middle sections). the middle inserts were the easiest part to do so if you have time and tools (small hog rings!) it's definitely a DIY job. Set aside a weekend for the job or have it professionally done for probably ~$150.
How are you guys doing them urselfs? im lost, are you like stitch masters or what? I guess I should have paid more attention in my highschool sewing class.lol
Wow Zennsx - very nice install job! Ya it took me more than 30 mins to get the seat out - fkong is obviously good with this kind of thing. My first seat took probably 4-5+ hrs the second one 3-4. If you're just doing the inserts you will still need to remove the seat to do it properly. Once out, I think it would take about an hour per seat to recover the inserts.

LOL.. didnt actually do any sewing.. I purchased a used seat and use the leather to replace my worn driver seat leather.
The first thing to remove was the lower seat pads then the back pads. after that it is pretty straight forward.. removing snaps and prying loose clamps..
