Mine popped out a few months ago. Unfortunately you have to order the entire button assembly, but I think that you can get a discount from one of the service departments listed.

dr.lane, thanks for the reply, but i already have the new assembly,i just was needing advice on getting the old one out?

Well, my horn buttons pop off all the time. I kinda buried my head in the sand with it 'cuz I was sure that in order to replace them I'd have to order a whole new steering wheel or something. Sounds like I can order them exclusively. I'm calling the dealership. . .ok. . .I can order them individually but it'll cost $37.84 each. Each!!!!

ponyboy,i paid Hoehn Acura $27.45 and it only took a couple of days to get here.there # is 760-438-9599

I helped a fellow member replace their horn assembly. The shaft that the button was clipped on was broken so the whole horn assembly had to come out. Basically I took some needlenose pliers on the outer edge of the assembly and started pulling it out. I was coming out very slowly and eventually broke in the process. I didn't care since it was coming out anyway. Since part of it broke it was even easier to pull the assembly out. A little wire was all that needed to be unplugged. The assemby went in without a hitch.

Hope it works out for you.
