I got the ones from SOS and mine are painted blue. They are deeper than the stock vents and I think that they look better. Could be a fiction of my imagination though, just look deeper with the mesh vs the grill. Tim

AK, you've forgotten the "bumblebee" edition!

What the heck is that? Looks like a door handle from a house. I think Do-Luck stuffs are just ugly. The frownig face front bumper to its curving downward exhaust tips are just too much.

I was thinking it looked like the handle to flush a toilet. Fugly IMO.

Go with the DIY screens.

I was going to do the mesh, but decided to just take off the louvers and leave it. I think it looks nice and clean that way, kinda F355 style. It definitely makes the side scoops appear a little deeper and more sculpted. My Cantrell AIS will be coming in a few days and I think it will look/sound/perform even better.

I took off that restrictive air intake in the meantime, and I have to say, I think the car is more responsive.

I went with the Dali Carbon Glass Side Vents and took off my DIY mesh ones. Here's a before and after:

I like the the mesh as it keeps out the big debris, like rocks, rubber chunks, birds, deer, etc.

Hey Doc J, your car is a mockery to all things aesthetic. Go ahead-ask your wife! I suppose the new baby has a black and yellow crib...

Ed,lol we do have a black/yellow stroller from macleran!

The mesh side vents, introduced on the Zanardi, are standard on the 2002+ NSX's.

NSXBuilder, thanks for the before and after pics -- that carbon glass one was something I was considering. I was wondering if you could possibly post another pic from further back of the whole car?

Also, can you comment on the fit of the new panel? From looking at the pic, it seems like there is a bit of a gap at the top. Is that correct, and is there any type of rattle or anything because of it? Thanks!

Here are couple pictures of the Do-Luck side vents on my car, thanks for some of the kind words.....

Haha. I think your description is better than mine. Straight out from the Pontiac styling center.

Maybe it is just me, but I like the mesh ones in the before pic better. It looks like it is time to get some new rear tires too.

Team,

The 'after' pic was in the garage with flash and no, it doesn't flatter the CF mesh w/clearr over it. Outside on the otherhand, these are mint. Want a picture? Then you'll have to WAIT! I'm adding some other little CF bits and as soon as they're on, you'll see them, and not a minute before.

Yes, there is a little gap (about twice the gap of the OEM part) but I have a solution for that as well. Wait for it!

Wow Ed,front canards,very racy!

Cool, thanks for the new pics! It looks pretty fantastic from further back, and it looks like you've pretty much eliminated the gap with the silicone seal. Good job!
