Is it possible to get a replacement original silver all-metal key if you don't have the little code thingy tag? Can they source it from your VIN or copy it from another key? I have the plastic handle one & a lightweight fluorescent green (go figure!!!) copy, but would like to have an original style - bet they are a crazy prce too, but whatever ....... B)

Yes, if it's a '91-96 NSX. (The '97+ models need the key with the immobilizer chip in it, and the metal key won't work.)

Like any key, they can cut one by copying from another key. They will need to order part number 35113-SL0-A11 which will probably cost just over one hundred dollars. It's a very hard metal so your dealer may have some trouble cutting it; you might be better off getting the blank from your dealer but having it cut by your locksmith...

I got an extra one from dealer Boston Acura for 112.. and the Home Economic shop screwed one sie of it.. so I can only start my car with on side of the key. they didnt pay my blank loss cuz they said they do not carry those blanks .. all they did was cut me a new one with a 2 dollars blank.
