Replace rear window with louvered CF shell ?

Has anyone thought of doing this?

If you already have the mesh engine cover, it'll help ventilation even more if the window is replaced with something that can vent air.

Will the aerodynamics suffer though?

Obviously a production car wouldn't be able to do this, since you can't let rain water drip onto the engine. But an aftermarket mod may be justified.

The vented rear hatch has already been made, both by Science of Speed and Dali Racing, and I believe they offer 2 verions. One with a functioning top scoop vented into the engine bay, and another without the vent (but has the scoop).

Street cars are using them.

Brings back memories of Knight Rider or the 280Z's. It might be hard to make it be aesthetically appealing.
