Hello prime

what is the difficulty level of changing out OEM exhaust cats for a novice like me? I know how to perform minor maintenance. Like an oil change. Any one know of any links to pics of replacing cats?

It's easier than changing your oil. Depending on the condition of the exterior your cats, you may need to soak the bolts with PB Blaster. I recommend soaking the bolts in PB Blaster anyway, just in case.

Soaking the nuts in WD40 is the best to do. It also helps to brake them loose after a nice drive when they are warm. You just need to be careful to not burn yourself.

The lower cat is easy. The upper one is a little tricky. You definitely need good quality tools.
