I live in Long Beach and take my car to Autowave in Huntington Beach. They are phenominal. I strongly recommend them from the simplest things to the most complex. They know the NSX as well as anyone. I would take my car to them even if I lived a couple hours away. That's how good they are. Great customer service as well. I doubt there are many mechanics who would call me after a track event to see how my car performed, as Shaine has done a few times.

Just curious, I've seen alot of recommendations for Autowave, and just wondering what their qualification on NSXs are? Is the person certified NSX tech? Or specialized in Acura..etc? Thanks for any info.

Autowave is the best independent automotive repair shop for the NSX. Their mechanic only services the NSX. The shop is back logged for repair appointments. They are reasonably priced too.

I'm sure others can chime in on the "specific" qualifications of Autowave, however they are a Honda/Acura specific shop and have been in business for over 10yrs. There is always 2-5 NSX's in their shop whenever I stop by. They do simple maintanence on all Honda/Acura's as well as maintain a good portion of Orange County's NSX's including track cars and Doug Hayashi's race NSX (http://pulpracing.com/). They have a dyno and are excellent with tuning superchargers and turbo's as well. Their pricing is reasonable, there service is excellent and their knowledge of the NSX is outstanding. Give them a call. Speak to Shaine or Ron.
