Removing valve cover baffles

Quick question, fellas.

Any tips on the best way to remove the valve cover baffles? Got the bolts off, but don't know how to detach it from the sealant.

The covers are being sent for powder coating.

Now that you have the bolts removed, just lift on a corner. Once you get the corner up, run your finger or a screw driver along the underside to break the Honda-bond seal between the valve cover and the plate. It may take a little effort, but once you get one corner up it’s easy. The baffle plate may warp (not bend) a little, but once you go to reinstall it the plate will lay flat once the bolts are reinstalled. Also keep in mind that in addition to bolting it back in place you need to use a small bead of Honda-bond as well. Here is a thread that I put together when I did mine.
