Removing the OEM license plate bracket?

Anyone try removing the OEM license plate bracket?

I can't find the right tools to fit in the narrow spaces
to remove the 4 screws.

Any tips would be appreciated.

They make long screwdrivers that would have no problem reaching the screws for the license plate bracket. I have screw drivers as long as 18". I general I like to use a longer screwdriver, keeps my knukles back out of harms way.

After thinking about this the license plate bracket it may have been bolted on with hex head bolts so the tool of choice would be a 10mm 1/4" drive socket with long extension. I have replaced my oringinal bolts with stainless steel philips head screws. Very neet and clean and no rust.

Don't forget the two 10mm bolts that go vertically, up in the very front part of the bracket. These bolt into the horizontal lip that forms the top of the air intake.

Thanks guys... I guess I'm going to have to make the investment in some real tools... time to make a trip to Sears!
