Removing stock protective film?

I have noticed a few pieces on the inside still have the stock protective film on them. It is just the thin little plastic film over the power seat icons and a few other bits. Is this film over the cruise icon and other things as well? I am surprised nobody ever took this film off. Now it is a little tricky to remove, but it still comes off and the underparts shine up pretty well with zaino plastic magic.
