Removing rear side trim panel?

According to the manual page 20-37 there are 3 screws I took out but then? Is it clipped on the door side? Pulling? What about the Release handle on the driver side, pulling?
And as we're here what about the side sill pads, just pulling?

Thanks in advance,
Thomas

If I remember correctly it is enough to pull... even I removed it without problems :)

But I had a lot of problems to reinstall it back: it is very difficult to align the clips.

I had to do that to swap the main relay on the silver.

EQU install? Any plan to dyno? :D

Pulling is not my favorite. :) Breaking it is almost possible.
You don't have to get it off for the main relay which is in the center. I've the CPU out and get an DALI ship next week. Dyno will be on a friday in two weeks if the wheater is good and as far as I have the Comptech unit on it. :D Last time we got 308 Nm in Oensingen, not bad. :D The next Dyno Day will take place in spring I think, maybe at Kellers in Zurigo.
I've planned to install the CF pillars for the outside: http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=63260

I still have a pictures CD for you. Please attend the next meeting. :)

Don't you miss her? :)

Hi Thomas
To remove the leather side sill pad (#2) on the passenger side, just pull it up - it is only clipped in place. For the driver's side, you need to remove the gas flap lever - this just pulls off towards front of car: if it's tough, use a screw-driver to leverage it off towards the front. Then just pull up on the garnish same as passenger side.
To remove the hatch opener release handle knob (#5), you need to remove the hitch clip behind it (you can see it in the picture), which secures the knob on the shaft. Use a screwdriver to leverage the knob away from the panel to create some space, so you can see and remove the hitch clip with some small pliers.
Finally, to remove the rear quarter trim panels, after your remove all the screws, pull away the felt-covered rubber door trim (#4) from the edge of the door frame: once that is removed you will see that the panel is attached to the frame under that rubber with some clips and you just pull it off at that point.

Hope that helps!

Thanks very much Ken!

The hint on the rubber door trim is brilliant, I 'll try that next week when my chip arrived.
The NSX is really built specially. :)

Thomas
