Hello, redoing the interior from tan to black on my 02 and does anyone have any detailed instructions on how to remove the panels. Have got most of the easy ones, Door lower panels but the ones behind the seat seems to be hard also how to remove the centre console so i can get at the shifter to put in a short shifter from SOS. Thxs guys for your help

For the ones behind the seats start with the top - long one, it sits on 3 clips. Later remove the big panels from behind each seat, they are on 4 clips if i remember correctly. After you take these off you should see screws for the rest.

If you want to remove the center console, start with the arm rest, then remove the top air vents and it should be down hill from there.

and the first thing people do when they buy an NSX is purchase a paperback Service Manual,

we all did it. got the manual and sat on the toilet and read it front to back.

thats how we can answer your questions. reading is the KEY

or the absolutely famous and all powerful, all knowing, Search button.

which you can find here on this link

http://www.nsxprime.com/search.htm

hope this helps

Buy a trim removal tool from your local auto part store ~$8. Make your life easier. This will save you a lot of time and keep from breaking clips. Very handy tool. I use it all the time.

I bought mine at Pep Boys.
